RRB ALP 2024 government job vacancy and Syllabus

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has announced the RRB ALP Notification 2024 for 5696 vacancies across various regions.

 

 

 

The online application process began on 20th January 2024 and will continue until 19th February 2024.

 

The selection process includes CBT I, CBT II, CBAT, and Document Verification. Those selected will receive an initial monthly salary of Rs. 19,900.

 

RRB ALP Eligibility Criteria

  • Nationality: Must be an Indian citizen, a subject of Nepal, Bhutan, or Pakistan; or, be of Indian descent, have migrated from East African countries, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam; or be a Tibetan refugee who arrived in India prior to January 1, 1962.

 

  • AGE LIMIT

  • A minimum of Matriculation/SSLC and ITI is required for both ALP Electrical Traction and ALP Mechanical Traction.
  • ALP Electrical Traction additionally accepts a three-year diploma or a combination of several engineering specialties in lieu of ITI.
  • ALP Mechanical Traction accepts Matriculation/SSLC and ITI or Course Completed Act Apprenticeship as the primary qualifications.

PHYSICAL AND MEDICAL STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR RRB ALP 2024

The physical and medical standard requirements for RRB ALP 2024 are as follows:

  • The candidates need to be both physically and medically fit.
  • The Medical Standard should be A-1 1.
  • The eye vision of the candidates should be as per the data in the table below:

RRB ALP 2024 Application Fee Details

  • SC/ST, Ex-Servicemen, Female, Transgender, Minorities, or Economically Backward Class (EBC) candidates: Application fee is Rs. 250/- ²³.
  • Unreserved and OBC candidates: Application fee is Rs. 500/- ²³.

 

  • Application fee is refundable after deducting bank charges on 1st Stage CBT.

  4. Upload the necessary documents such as photographs and signatures.
  5. Pay the application fee based on your category. The application fee for candidates belonging to SC/ST, Ex-Servicemen, Female, Transgender, Minorities, or Economically Backward Class (EBC) is Rs. 250/-, while the application fee for candidates belonging to Unreserved and OBC categories is Rs. 500/-.
  6. Submit the application form.
